In Saipan, unexpectedly, there are many various types of Korean Restaurants. Even most of the signs of the restaurants are in Korean. Almost most of them are beef restaurants and sell Korean traditional foods such as Bibimbob. Even though there are many Korean restaurants, I usually go to American Restaurants such as Capricciossa, Tony Romas, Country House, Fuji, and sometimes Spicy Thai Restaurant.
In HanMaDang Korean Restaurant, they sell 5 dollar pork cutlet which is really delicious and really big enough for one person for lunch. They do sell beef and pork too. I never had tried yet, but according to people’s judgment of taste, it is extremely delicious. One of my favorite things to do during my life is visiting restaurants which are famous and even showing on the Television. Saipan is very small country comparing to other countries. And even though since I was here almost about 4 years ago, there are still lots of restaurants where I have not yet visited.
My most favorite restaurant in Saipan is Spicy Thai Restaurant which located nearly next to PIC building. They cost normally so students can go there and eat freely. Usually, I go there with my selected members and order like 5~7 foods, and it costs like no more than $40. So we divided by 5, and paid $8 each. Taste so good, cheap, and kind services!

Book Review
When it comes to dispensing relationship advice, turning to a popular comedian for advice might sound a little strange. However comedian Steve Harvey, an author of Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, has partnered with relationship expert Denene Millner to help women understand what they need to know about the men in their lives. In Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, Harvey and Millner provide women with direct, and often comical, advice in dealing with their male counterparts.
Derived from his years of experience hosting the popular radio show, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Harvey restored some of the most teachable lessons and has compiled them into an easy-to-read, conversational book. Instead of approaching relationships from a self-help perspective, Harvey gives women advice about men in the same way one would expect from a big brother or best friend.
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man explores many of the common scenarios that women will meet in their quests for a long-term, substantial relationship: dealing with “mama’s boys,” marriage, and when to introduce men to children in one’s life. However Harvey also take an honesty approach to the sport of dating, dishing out the viewpoints of most men with unashamed honesty.

End of the Third Quarter!
Students! It is almost end of the third quarter already. I feel like it was yesterday when I assured myself to be changed from third quarter and it is already the end of the third quarter. The first day of back to school from Christmas break, I was wondering when the third quarter would finished. We did some home works, took the quizzes and tests, and wrote some essays, and then it is almost the end of the third quarter already. If the fourth quarter starts, I will refresh myself again like I did when I was at the beginning of the third quarter.
During the third quarter, our school had some events of Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Super Holiday, Parent Teacher Conference Day, and Presidents’ Day Holiday. There were Valentine’s Day, Super ball Day, volleyball games, game night, and had Saipan International School’s tradition which is Bake Sales. Till now, those holidays are considered to me just as the day when I can rest a lot and play rather than study in class. The days do not really meant to me significantly. However, trying to look those particular days up in the internet will make our common senses higher.
Please finish everything up carefully with good consequences until the very end of the third quarter and let us have comfortable about 10 days spring break!

Speak English-article
Today, the second language is almost a must have item for everyone. A large amount of people go to another country to learn the second language such as Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, and Pilipinno . In Saipan International School, there are many people who came here to study English which is a language that people must learn today.
However, we do not speak English as much as we need to speak. We foreigners speak our own language a lot more than speak English. So Dr.Jenkins got mad at us several times and as it happens, the punishment for that was getting harsh like detention or suspended one day. However, it was not easy to quit speaking Korean even though I could get detention or suspension. As long as there is Korean student like me, it will be hard to quit speaking Korean.
For me, I know that speaking Korean will never help to improve my English but I just speak Korean instinctly. Living four years in Saipan, I realized a fact that speaking English even if you do not really know how to speak is the best way to improve your English. Another reason why speaking English is kind of hard to me was that I was embarrassed if I speak wrongly.

college interview with Dr.Jenkins
Every seniors of high school are busy to be prepared for college at the time when junior life is almost done and at the beginning of senior year. Now all seniors are focusing and concentrating on colleges or universities. Preparing colleges, copious documents are shouting at students to fill them out. It is the time students need some advisors when even only one misspelled document can harshly hurt them.
I am junior right now, and I have a lot of interest in colleges. So I kind of investigated Dr.Jenkins, our Saipan International school’s headmaster, about his college life. He had graduated from a school called Whittier College in California with a major of science education. When he was a freshman in college, he wanted to be a lawyer but as the time goes, he was just not that interest in lawyer. So he had been changed his mind.
The important materials for college were basically GPA (grade point average), scores of ACT, SAT, TOEFL, and also community services. In order to get closer with professors, students really must ask questions a lot, be prepared like what honor students usually do, daily discuss the subject about what they have learned, and visit them individually in offices. Dr.Jenkins said that there is a system which professor and some particular students who are specifically studying about the subject of the particular professor live together and often discuss about the subject repeatedly.
During Dr.Jenkins’ freshman and senior years lots of differences were occurred. When he was freshman, he was out of nowhere, and when he became senior, he knows professors, takes only classes that he wants, becomes harder, and the relationship between professors becomes closer. For his extracurricular activities, he took sports line like track and field for 2 years. And extracurricular activities are really good experiences to get to know other people and to use time more wisely.
Lastly, he said the college is necessary for a life because it is a great experience and probable the best time in one’s life. It helps to find what you want, learn so much about yourself, others, and the world that is worth. Also, it helps to prepare you for greater opportunities that are open to you. So truly, trying to get accepted in colleges is a good experience to challenge in one and only life.
